AGV Stealth Helmet Review

Well after nearly a year of riding with the ill fitting Nolan N102, I decided that a new helmet was in order. My helmet history has presented the dark side, with my quick to buy uneducated purchases, so this time I was determined to buy with an enlightened perspective and to buy from a local dealer that I know would support me if I had helmet issues.

Helmet history

  • Shoei RF1000–excellent but never quite fit right.
  • Scorpion EXO 400–couldn’t stand the smell out of the box, though I loved the fit
  • Nolan N102–too heavy–latch never worked properly–hot spots on the forehead
  • AGV Stealth–jury is still out until a distance tour.

    Welcome to Demeneshea’s Ride Like a Girl!

    I began motorcycle riding in 2004, a time when many people found it an odd or adventurous challenge for a woman no longer a glowing youth. My glow may be a bit tarnished, but my patina flowed into my second or third childhood! I found myself searching everything I could find to read and re-read regarding motorcycling, touring, safety, machines, destinations, and anything somewhat motorcycle related. I read, rode, practiced and learned.

    Now many thousand miles later, I enjoy finding others like myself, wanting to ride, looking for places to go and information to get there. (more…)
