Yesterday, I had the good fortune of meeting Jamileh for a small tour in my area as she headed to NorCal seeking the best of roads from pashnit. It was her Birthday, which I didn’t ascertain until later., that little scamp!! 😀

We met in Marysville, and rode to Quincy via Quincy LaPorte Rd.

We gassed up in Quincy and spoke to a German traveler who is currently located in Chico, and provided Jamileh with some more road info for her continued journey. He was riding a BMW, imagine that! 😀

He remarked that he couldn’t believe that we rode such “big” bikes, which I found delightful, as I never really consider the Bandito big! His comment was based not on the fact we were women as much as both our bikes are heavy and unforgiving for either gender. This was humorous coming from a 6’2″ man on a big a$$ GS. Now that is a BIG bike!! I suppose it is all relative.

We parted with smiles and Jamileh and I headed toward Oroville via Bucks Lake.

This was my first meeting with Jamileh and I have to say, the meeting was a true pleasure. We had a wonderful time chasing one another over some of the best riding in this area!! Oroville-Quincy Hwy pavement and twisties are simply AMAZING!

The second was Big Creek Rd. off Oroville Quincy Hwy with twisties and great pavement!

I only got a few shots…as the riding was just too good!!
