It seems that Dainese and AGV have launched what they are calling the MyFace Project. The project allows motorcycle racing fans to make his or her own helmet unique by personalizing it with a photo of his or her face or anything else they wish to print. Cool!

They launched this with Valentino Rossis famous “mug” atop his helmet at the Mugello 2008 Grand Prix. The helmet a graphic depiction of Valentino’s face with the expression portraying in the Doctor’s own words, “my expression when I bend into the San Donato curve after the straightaway in Mugello at over 300 km/h!”

The Limited Edition proposed by AGV sold out in just a few days. Now AGV is offering everyone the chance to show their face!

By going to www.italianlegendaryprotection.com you’ll be guided step by step through the creation of an absolutely unique helmet complete with your face or other graphics. After purchasing the helmet will be delivered to your door within 10 weeks.

And if that isn’t enough, you can add an arcade video game in which players can challenge Valentino Rossi via Facebook, wearing virtual versions of their own personalized helmets, while they try to beat the Doctor’s time on the Mugello track and win one of the prizes offered by AGV.
