Cigarette break for Gary
After our route over the amazing goat of NFS16 we rode over the Dooley Mountain Hwy 245. Now we are talking perfect pavement, twisties and sweepers. What a treat!! As I followed Gary, I noticed him tapping the breaks and saw a bear cub along the roadside. Where was mama, was both our thoughts, and neither of us felt confident enough to try and snap a picture!
At the corner of 245 and 7 I saw a sign saying 2 horses and 1 mule for sale. I had to investigate. I wanted this black guy badly!! Look at his poor feet, as he is in need of some hoof attention.
We bonded
From 245 we connected to Hwy 7 and then went off on the Middlefork Rd for several miles before connecting to Hwy 395. Wow…what a GREAT ROAD, with beautiful scenery, butterflies and rivers.
