Once the tire was ready we left to meet Steve. We met at the ferry and gabbed a bit then took off on a Steve adventure.

First stop was for freshly picked berries…yummy!

As much as Gary doesn’t like berries, Steve convinced him to try them…

Here are Gary’s photos and his narrative of our journey:
Steve/Bosozoku and Ally/House (and Karen), thanks a million for hosting a couple of vagabond Californians in your neighborhood (and home!). Our rides with you were a real delight! Loved Hwy 34, Mary’s Peak, Cape Perpetua, Wolf Creek Rd., Siuslaw Falls, Smith River Rd…. an awesome intro to Oregon’s great roads!! Alas, so many roads, so little time… we’re just going to have to do a reprise before this season comes to a close!
I have a lot of pix from our tour of eastern Oregon, but I’ll just post up some of the photos from Monday/Tuesday with Steve and Ally.
For better or worse, we spent early Monday getting a new tire for the back of Donna’s Bandit, delaying our meeting with Steve until noon at the Wheatland Ferry. Sorry we had to truncate your route options, Steve, but it was a great riding day nonetheless!
First stop… berries!!

Second stop… FrankenZ1 meets covered bridge

Atop Mary’s Peak… jeez, Steve, it’s not like we hiked up! 🙂
