Marion created this lovely helmet bauble for Princess Cris her pillion and partner in crime. Criminal events were limited though, since Marion is an officer of the law. The only causalities of the ride were one rabbit and one bird! Silly animals, didn’t realize marauding wild females riders were near and they needed to scatter appropriately!
The first day involved some goat first thing in the morning followed by some of the most amazing pavement ever in Hwy 190 to Western Divide Highway then onward to Sherman Pass! WOW!

We stopped in the tiny town of Ponderosa for a lunch/snack break, heat escape and of course a group shot. Here’s to you Tyler and as you can see she accompanied us on the entire journey! She was still our infamous ride leader!

While at Ponderosa we decided to regroup with one group desiring the more goaty Sherman Pass while the other a mellower procession riding an alternate route to Lake Isabella with considerable less challenge. The following photos are from the adventure group of which I was a proud instigator!!!

Jamileh caught me as I attempted to flee the 10second camera setting! The photo cracked me up, as it appears I am running from an dangerous alien and screaming like a little girl!

This one includes Dona where I had been standing, though we are not interchangeable while riding. Dona rides a BMW RT which dwarfs my Bandit!
