Seminar
Real World Street Strategies by Nancy Foote and Walt Fulton from Streetmasters
Great real world riding advice, from tar snakes to rain and other street dangers. I truly enjoyed the entire presentation by two wonderfully human speakers!
Shopping at the marketplace but I discovered that much of the stuff being sold was limited to cruiser wear. There was very little for the sport tourer.
Afternoon:
Riding the twisties taught by Walt Fulton and Sue Slate one of the Dirty Dozen riders and a member of the Women’s Motorcyclist Foundation. She was instrumental in helping to raise over @2 million for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. This was a good seminar with lots of time for question and answers and even thought it was held outside and HOT, was well attended. The most interest was from the newbie riders.
BBQ and Dance (I skipped this)

Friday
Trouble shooting and road fixes…wow…what a GREAT class!
Accident Scene Management—this was taught by Vickie Roberts-Sanfelipo author of “A crash course for the Motorcyclist” and registered nurse and licensed EMT. This class is NOT to be missed. I plan on attending the full program here in CA. Details can be found at http://www.accidentscene.org/

Networking!
International Street Party—great networking with cocktails, Deborah Gray , Canadian ”First Lady of Reform” speaking enthusiastically about riding and politics. This woman was a hoot!
