Note that the corners are paved. The story has it that a uranium mining company made a deal with the state that they would pave the straights if the state would pave the corners. Well…it seems the uranium company went broke and the straights were never paved. Interesting, but I have to say, I loved the paved corners!




On the way to Natural Bridges NP

I bought puppets for my grandsons and asked the nice park ranger if she would model them. I think she was a bit out of her element with that request! Hahaha

Natural Bridges NP is a quiet out of the way park with very little traffic or crowds. It was quite hot there, and there were few people out hiking. Everyone that I spoke to was from Europe. It is definitely time for Europeans to travel in America.
