Packing for Spain…amazing!!

I found an article in the NYT that had a flight attendant’s demo of packing a carry-on bag. I decided to give it a shot and see if I could pack for a 15 day trip in one bag. It appears that I can!
First off, I looked up the airline regulation for the proper carry-on bag size and then I bought a proper sized bag from Ross for a whooping $39.00. Then I grabbed everything I wanted to take and placed it on my bed.

Then I decided what I would wear on the plane, and pulled that stuff out. Here is the list:
2 jeans
2 leggings
2 shorts
2 swim suits
1 sarong
6 blouses
5 tees
7 undies
2 bra
1 sweat jacket
1 pajamas
1 robe
5 dresses
belt
cosmetics
jewelry
dress sandals
tour book
travel dryer

Now, that’s alot of stuff. But as instructed, I began rolling up everything and then after getting it all rolled, I started placing it around the bag. Voila. It all fit, without squishing stuff of having to sit on the bag to close it.

All my riding gear is in this bag to be checked!
