The feds have finally decided that all states should require motorcycle helmets to try and reduce the surge in motorcycle fatalities.

I think it’s sad that it takes a federally induced rule to make people protect themselves from obvious harm. I realize many argue the freedom to choose is forthright, however as insurance rates soar as well as injury and fatalities, another method of stimulating helmet use is being sought. Looks like the feds feel the need to step in and help us protect ourselves.

It’s a sad day, when a rule insights common sense.
