As the holiday season approaches, it’s nice to have a list of gift items that every rider would enjoy if they don’t already have and use them! I tried to compile a list of items that all riders can use when the weather is less than agreeable and the cold gets to one, even on a short commute. When not riding, maybe you can snuggle by the fireplace with a good book or film or you can plan for the next road trip! Lots of things to choose from even for the rider that has nearly everything!

1) Gerbing heated jacket liner or a jacket liner by Firstgear both are excellent liners and will connect to gloves. Remember that you have to get a controller with your jacket which is an extra charge. My controller is dual so that I can set my gloves and liner to different temperatures. I like being able to set my gloves up higher, as my fingers are nearly always cold. The nice thing about these two liners are both have heating elements in the neck, so that one very vulnerable spot is covered.

2) Stop and Go Tire plugger kit with air perfect for those “oh damn” moments.

3)A good first aid kit Even if your rider has a first aid kit, many items need to be renewed each year. A good first aid kit is a perfect gift.

4) Silly kickstand kritters are irreverent and fun for any rider needing a kickstand support for dirt or gravel. Get lots of laughs with this silly puck.

5) A good moto film or book. There are an astounding amount of good books and movies out there for the motorcycle enthusiast, but you get the bias of my favorites.

6) Another wonderful gift for a cycle girl is a gift card or some good cosmetics. A good lip balm, like one of the Burt’s Bee line, or a good moisturizer or sun screen. Protect the girl you love!! A gift card could be used for gas or accessories. Whatever you provide, know that it will be appreciated!
