When one of my riding buddies went across country on a solo adventure, I didn’t think much about it. She’s an outstanding rider and no stranger to solo travel. But knowing this didn’t distill the surprise I had when I pasted in the query of “women in motorcycling” and one of the first returns was a newspaper article about her ride! The Natchez Democrat wrote this article about Karen and her solo adventure to Mississippi from Spokane Washington. I would like to have been at the “beauty parlor” for the grand entrance!!
