I was talking to my mother on my iPhone when she told me about Steve Job’s death. I was shocked, but not surprised given the depth of his illness. Nonetheless, it was like the loss of an old friend, one that years before immersing in Apple, rode an old Beemer. Though I have no history on his motorcycle riding, I have to assume he rode like he lived, with a passion for living each day to the fullest!

As I googled more info, I found little on the BMW however I discovered some amazing quotes, especially the ones found in this 2005 Stanford Commencement Address. It was here that he talked about Stewart Brand and the creation of the Whole Earth Catalog. Stewart placed on the back jacket of the final issue these words, “stay hungry, stay foolish”. Those were the words that Steve Jobs left ringing in the ears of the Stanford Class of 2005.

So, with this I say to all my blog friends…”stay hungry, stay foolish”, they are words to dream by.
