Daylight savings time ended early this morning proving that winter is finally settling in on this the sixth day of November. Scanning my personal website, I notice I’ve been more than casually remiss on my blog posting and for this I feel guilty, but honestly I have to tell you that I have been totally immersed in the purchase of a new home and a new parking spot for my motorcycle.

The new house closed on October 31, 2011 and my husband Gary and I are once again home “owners”. This reality didn’t really dawn until yesterday when I spent the day bonding with the abode, meeting our contractor who is going to assist in making the place OUR home and staring at the walls. Gary joined me late afternoon, and together we mentally repainted the place, added furniture, artwork, and improvements and visualized what we will endure over the next few months. We are both energized beyond belief.

So, as winter covers Sacramento with layers of new rain, my motorbike will likely be parked and I’ll be posting new moto-info, but little experienced from the seat of my bike. It will also be required that I post photos and updates of the new place as it rolls forward. The garage will be the first thing done and the bandito will have a new home. 😉
