It’s been horribly hot here in Sacto and yesterday on the 4th of July, Gary and I decided to put on my newly acquired windscreen not without duress. Certain we could use the same brackets, we attempted to put on the new sport screen. But noooooo, i believe that maybe when they are manufactured it they drill the shield and the brackets at the same time as the holes were not nearly in the same place. So, off come the handlebars and off comes the old bracket and on goes the bracket that came with the sport screen. Now, it’s over 106 outside which makes the garage about two zillion degrees. I’m testy, the Gary is testy, and we just can’t get it to line up properly so like the smart people we are when not frying, we decided to blow it off and get a cold damned drink while we are still speaking. 😉

This morning, we got that baby on the bike after a small screen tussle and Hugo is now sporting a much better looking screen and after I went out and rode him, he told me just how much he liked it, by allowing me clear air all around!! YES!!
