This weekend will mark nearly one year since my last Streetmasters course, only this year it’s even more crucial that I take the class since I have spent so much time off the bike this past winter.

I was trying to remember the last ride I took with any sort of substance and can’t for the life of me remember. Which means my mind has taken the way of the goldfish. Or aging is simply as horrendous as they say! Either way, I need a skilz brush up, a good ride to SoCal, and some one on one time with my most excellent husband Gary, who is attending with me.

I saw I had a few minutes of fame recently when I discovered that the May issue of Rider Magazine featured a story on Streetmasters. Accompanying the article was a photograph of yours truly riding the course, with a caption beneath the photo saying, “one of the faster female riders”. Woohoo, how’s that for awesome! Sadly, there is no link to the article and only those of you with magazine in hand or reading this post can view this excellent photo from Bruce Laidlaw.
