It’s all about the passion…

A full week off and a daunting plan, were fodder for a BIG adventure, only escape from Reno, didn’t seem in the plan. My antagonist was windy weather and an aging father whose ability to discern between reality and fantasy produces an ever widening gap. Finally on Thursday, I was able to pack the bike and boldly get out of town attempting a pre-ride on some of the route for the upcoming girly ride.

I rode south crossing the summit over Hwy 88 jumping on 26, Railroad Flats Rd and a few other unplanned discoveries. A wrong turn took me up N Railroad Flats to Blue Mountain and as the road deteriorated beneath me, I kept thinking, “This can’t be right” and all the while I was kicking myself for not taking the GPS with me!
